Garden in Leimuiden
Functional front
garden design
When you think about a front garden, it tends to conjure up a certain image. The owners of this house wanted to break this image, and requested an original front garden that would meet their wishes in terms of both design and function. And why not use the front garden as a place of relaxation?
The front garden layout is formed by various low gabion walls. The grey and white hues of the hard materials contrast with the colourful plants.
A staggered row of posts and an evergreen ivy panel provide privacy, but at the same time reinforce the warm atmosphere that prevails in the front garden. Some planters are fitted with a ground spot to enhance their appearance in the evening, and the row of posts is also lit.
The result is a fresh, functional front garden that immediately stands out in its urban setting
